White Edge / Froggatt Edge (Circular) - Derbyshire - 16/11/17 - 5 Miles - Helen (Molly)
Helen on the way up from the Grouse Inn.
I stride forth on White Edge whistling 'twentyone today' (and the rest).
That must be the signpost pointing to Curbar Gap.
The return along Froggatt.

Burbage Rocks/Higger Tor/Carl Wark Circular - Derbyshire - 12/11/17 - 5 Miles - Helen (Molly)
Helen looks at Carl Wark from the Longshaw end, as I demonstrate yet more special effects with her camera.
I find a noticeboard to help me decide where I am.
Demanding Labrador has no qualms about entering peoples personal space.
Waiting to begin the rocky climb after the two bridges.
The view of Carl Wark from Higger Tor.
Information plaque issues both threats and information.
I make my escape from the fort.

Youlgreave Circular - Derbyshire - 04/11/17 - 7 Miles - Helen (Molly)
Fresh water container opposite All Saint Church, which apparently was paid for by Youlgreave Friendly Society for Women, a long long time ago.
Helen realises that the only way over the impassable invisible fence is to use the stile.
And then a strange light covered the whole of the forest.
While I was having my lunch, I quickly knocked off this line drawing of Robin Hood's Stride (aka Mock Beggars Hall).
The Autumn colours were almost unreal on the path back.

Chatsworth / Baslow (Circular) via Carver/Hassop/Pilsley - Derbyshire (Peak District) - 02/11/17 - 10 Miles
Autumn is definitely here.
This gradient which is from a path off Calver High Street, is much safer as an ascent (as on this occasion) then it is as a descent.
Dark hedges.
This silly cow thought it was funny to laugh at me, when I tried to take a picture of Chatsworth in the distance.
Leaving Bank Woods.
Climbing up towards Hassop.
Edensor church with the hunting tower in the very far background.
