St Davids (coastal Path) Circular - Pembrokeshire - 29/09/15 - 7.5 Miles - Helen (Molly)

St David's Cathedral
Stepping stones.
Port Clais (or Porth Clais for the local spelling)
View from the other side.
The Pembrokeshire Coastal path winds on and on.
I just can't get enough.
We also met some wild ponies.
The redevelopment of St Justine's lifeboat station

Nolton Haven to Broad Haven (and back) - Pembrokeshire - 27/09/15 - 7 Miles - Helen (Molly)

The beach at Nolton Haven
The coastal path (+ walker) in the foreground, with someone's home (not WW1 tank) in the background.
After being suitably fed at the Druidstone Inn, we eventually touched down at the dog partitioned side of the beach at Broad Haven.
Me on the Pembrokeshire coastal path (more such pictures to follow).

Hathersage (Stanage Edge) circular - Dark Peak - 06/09/15 - 10 Miles - Helen, Ally, Grant (Molly)

Third go at this walk this year, but with even more in tow.
The view from High Neb (Stanage Edge) is breathtaking, especially on a clear bright September day.
Although for some people it's all about the mileage.
Hang on we have seen these two posing in virtually the same spot (and gear) a few months back.
The downward quest for a pub in Hathersage begins.

Over Haddon / Lathkill Dale (Circular) - Peak District - 18/08/15 - 7 Miles - Helen (Molly)

Information board stuff.
Batemans House - who was a man who apparently built his house on top of a mine shaft around 1814 (which of course explains why it has stood the test of time then).
So where now ?
The outdoors suits me.

Grindsbrook/Kinder Scout (circular) - Dark Peak - 05/08/15 - 5.75 Miles - Helen (Molly)

I thought I took the photos ?
The trek up to Kinder begins.
It's a bit blustery up here.
Also there is nowhere to sit down.
Oh well apart from there I suppose.
Back on the right track again, as we head to Grindsbrook Knoll.

Hathersage (Stanage Edge) circular - Dark Peak - 26/06/15 - 10 Miles - Helen (Molly)

All's good as we leave Hathersage.
Head not just stuck in the clouds, but now merging with them.
Dog refuses to pose for shocking pink fleece holding a camera.

Stone Edge to Barlow Common Side to Unstone - (Chesterfield Round Walk: parts 5 and 6) - 25/06/15 - 11.25 Miles

My final day of the 34 mile Chesterfield Circular Walk.
Written instructions are always my preference on any walk.
Crossing over the Dam at Linacre.
Possibly the hottest day of the year so far ?
The Methodist church at Barlow Common Side marks the start of the final 3 mile section.
Crossing the Dronfield Bypass
Another information board (not available at every section though).
A sea of poppies on the approach to Unstone.
The full guide and instructions for the Chesterfield 34 mile Round Walk, is available at the Chesterfield Visitor Centre for £1.50.
But be warned, this is how your boots might end up.
