Sometimes the going was easy.

We reach the summit of Creag a Chalamain.

I decide enough is enough and set off for home.

As we were not in Derbyshire, instructions on where to go were a must.

So that was the start located.

The Lily Loch and fat poser, on what was the only snow/ice free walk of the week.

The ski or Vunicular run up away on the Cairgorms.

I was worried at the time that my gloves wasn't matching the rest of my outfit.

Burbage Rocks/Higger Tor/Carl Wark Circular - Derbyshire - 18/02/18 - 5 Miles - Helen (Molly)

Heading in the direction of Burbage Rocks, with lots of mud and orienteers about.

Having just descended from Higger Tor.

Molly larks around on Carl wark.

Helen was at the magic buttons on her camera in the grounds of Longshaw.

Curbar and Baslow (circular) - Derbyshire Peak District - 15/02/18 - 6.5 Miles

Mud everywhere.

And very very windy on the edge.

Chatsworth / Carlton Lees (Circular - Reverse Direction) - Derbyshire (Peak District) - 08/02/18 - 8.5 Miles

There's a lot of White Lodges about in Derbyshire!

It was very muddy as we left Matlock, with Riber Castle away to our left.

When we reached Bonsall we stopped for a drink and some Christmas Cake.
